Final Items for the Final :-)

There was an 8 point curve overall- which was generous on my part because there were 2 outliers (Happy Holidays to you!- you’re welcome!)

I love all of you dearly, but if that did not “bump” you up to the next grade category, please do not email me.  Remember, there have been plenty of helpers along the way that did not have to be there (test corrections, the final 8 point curve, extra credit, FRQ corrections for the first test, etc.).  This helped you and put you where you were, so without those, your grade would be lower.  Enjoy your break! See you in 2016!

Science of Learning Tip: While reading, it is extremely important to apply the two core science of learning principles: Think it Through and Make and Use Associations. Both can be practiced by pausing periodically while reading and asking oneself questions such as:

-What topics from Human Geography relate to what I am reading?
-How might application of today’s learning objectives help me better understand these issues?
-What topics in the reading am I unfamiliar with? What do I know that I can connect with these new topics?
-What are possible second order effects of the topics being discussed?
